WDW Memory Maker

Updated: Jan 26, 2019

Define: Memory Maker

It is a programme that allows you to keep and save digitally all photos taken of you by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout WDW for the duration of your stay.

Make sure when you purchase your tickets for WDW that Memory Maker is included! With most 14 day ultimate tickets from the UK Memory Maker is included, and at a value of $169 it’s well worth it!

Your memory maker should already be linked to your My Disney Experience app but check when you first take a PhotoPass photo if the photo appears on the app usually within 20 minutes. If not then you can go to Guest Services to make sure it is linked directly.

There are photographers around all the parks in prime photo spots, at character meetings as well as ride photos. When you would like a photo you just approach the photographer, get your picture and then they will scan your magic band. The photos will then automatically be available for you on your ‘My Disney Experience’ App.

*Download the photos onto your phone/device at the end of each day, if you wait till the end of your holiday it may take some time to download all your photos*

When you get off a ride, check for your ride your photo then scan your Magic Band on the flashing Mickey. Some rides the photo will go automatically onto your App.

If it’s your first trip to Disney world then Memory Maker will be your best friend, you can get all the family in the photo! & laugh at some hilarious ride photos!
